You've just met Richard P. Smith, outdoor writer and hunter who just happens to live nearby. Prior to this video I had never heard of him and had no inkling into his past which is very notable and includes Boone and Crocket Bears as well as writing for many major publications for over 50 years and so much more.

Richard and I met last autumn and will hopefully get together soon again, we were accompanied by a friend who filmed that encounter and you can see that here.
